ABRAHAM HOSTEL BAR

The Abraham Hostel Bar is open every evening from 6pm to midnight and has become Jerusalem’s most international bar where locals and travelers from around the world come together.

Stocking a wide range of local and international alcohols including local Jerusalem beers and our special cocktails. Our food menu includes locally inspired snacks and meals. Daily Happy Hour is from 6pm to 8pm, whilst our daily events are a great way to meet fellow travelers and local Jerusalemites.

The menu includes Israeli traditions including Goldstar and Maccabi, boutique local brews including Shapira and Taybe, and of course, the famous Israeli spirit, Arak!

As well as local food options such as hummus, and bourekas, we serve great pizzas, hot dogs, and other simple and tasty food.

We hold events most nights (you can see our weekly schedule to the left), and special parties or concerts most weeks. Recently we’ve hosted some of Israel’s biggest musicians and held huge parties for local and international festivals where guests and locals have celebrated alongside each other

Our famous Live Music ‘Open Jam’ Night takes place every Sunday. Headlined by a talented local band, Abraham Hostel guests from around the world have the chance to show off their talents performing alongside the band, or on their own. Every week is a new experience, with our diverse guests bringing music inspired by a spectrum of cultures together in a unique and special evening.

HUMMUS WORKSHOP

Every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday, join us at 7:30pm for a relaxed evening of cooking, chatting with other guests, learning about local cuisine and how to prepare the famous Middle Eastern dish, hummus. Try something new, healthy and authentic as we introduce you to this addictive treat. Including a shot of Arak, a local liqueur.

SHABBAT DINNER

Come experience the spirit of Shabbat and join us for a beautiful communal Shabbat dinner! Every Friday, travelers from all over the world come together to cook, enjoy a relaxing meal and learn about the meaning of Shabbat. The event is open to Abraham Hostel guests only and costs 60 NIS. Sign up at the reception on the day to reserve your place. We’re looking forward to eating with you!
