Hostel Volunteer

General

Who are we?

Abraham & Abraham Tours are a group of fun and friendly hostels that cater to independent travelers looking to explore Israel and experience our beautiful country and the Middle East to the fullest. We're operating out of four major locations in Israel- Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Eilat and Nazareth- and two locations in the Philippines- Manila and Bohol. We also operate tours all around Israel, the West Bank, Egypt, Jordan and the Philippines! To us, a hostel is more than just a place, it’s all about the people. Our staff and volunteers work hard to make our hostels a warm and welcoming place for our guests and provide them with the best experience possible. Volunteering with us is an opportunity to interact with like-minded travelers from different backgrounds and make new friends. You’ll get to experience Israel like a local - the nightlife, the beaches, the history, and the hummus! As we say in Israel - Yalla - come work with us.
Our Hostels

  • You have the opportunity to volunteer with any one of our beautiful hostels (or more than one if you stay for 9 weeks or more!)

  • Eilat: Our biggest, newest and most colorful (literally!) hostel. From crazy pool parties to Shabbat dinner, we have it all! The hostel is located in the most southern city in Israel, about 5 min' walk from the central station, and 20 min' drive from "Ramon" airport. Located near the red sea, you can enjoy an amazing view while relaxing on the beach, or maybe take a dive with the cutest dolphins.

  • Tel Aviv: A large, lively hostel in the city center. We host concerts and parties at our bar and rooftop, in addition to daily activities from local beer tasting to our beach hangout! The hostel is located in a convenient spot, only a 2-minute walk from Rothschild Boulevard, between the restaurants and nightlife, with easy access to public transportation. And most importantly of course, just a 20 minute walk from the beach!

  • Jerusalem: A large hostel with a homey, small hostel vibe. We host concerts and activities on a daily basis at our bar and beautiful rooftop with everything from the legendary hummus making workshop to the open mic night. The hostel is situated in the center of Jerusalem with easy access to public transportation. It’s just a 2-minute walk to the best market in the middle east - Mahane Yehuda, a 7-minute walk to Jerusalem’s unique, alternative nightlife scene and a 15-minute walk to the amazing old city.

  • Nazareth: Fauzi Azar is a gorgeous 200-year old mansion turned hostel, located in the heart of Nazareth’s historical old town. Perfect for travelers looking to get away from the noise, and chill in a beautiful location, surrounded by friendly people and good food. As a volunteer in Nazareth, you’ll immediately feel part of the family. It’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in this culturally diverse area, get to know the Arab culture and a different side of Israel. This is a perfect starting point to explore northern Israel’s beautiful nature and historical sites, or spend a day at the beach on the Sea of Galilee.

  • Philippines, Bohol- Abraham Bohol is a fantastic getaway experience for those wanting to make great summer memories as well as unforgettable exploration ventures in the untouched beauty of Bohol’s nature sites. As part of the globally-recognized Abraham brand of hospitality and its goal to be an international hub that welcomes people from various walks of life, it provides tours and a fun and comfortable place to stay for its guests with a warm smile and excellent service.

    Testimonials

Sofia - Italy - Volunteered in Jerusalem

I really miss my time at Abraham Jerusalem, because I was so happy, surrounded by amazing people, whether staff members, other volunteers or guests. Since the amount of work wasn’t heavy at all – and mostly fun – I had the possibility to travel around the country and I was amazed by its diversity and biodiversity. And let’s not forget about the food: I crave for some borekas, hummus and kugel! I miss Shabbat and its magical atmosphere, I miss Jerusalem’s unexpected nightlife… in short, I really wish to go back someday, because it felt like home and home is where you want to return
