The light emanating from the work and the combination of the diverse and unusual materials from which it is made invite a prolonged and in-depth observation of the work, and it requires the viewer time to decipher it. Roth says: “I dove into the field of LCD screen production, where I discovered a whole world of fascinating materials, from polarizing filters to RGB glasses. After countless experiments with materials and their reaction to other materials, I was able to harness them into my art.” The work is a contemporary and abstract interpretation of a landscape image; The Israeli sunlight turns into artificial LED light, and the infinite horizon is bounded by the screen.
