Our Story

Abraham Hostels was founded by travel entrepreneurs Maoz Inon, Gal Mor, Nitzan Kimchi, Dror Tishler, and Yaron Burgin, who shared the belief that travel should create real connection to place, people, and culture. What began as a vision for a welcoming hub for independent travelers grew into a broader mission: to present Israel and the region through authentic local experiences and open human exchange. Abraham operates hostels rooted in the everyday life of their cities, with locations in Tel Aviv, Eilat, and Bohol. Abraham’s story also includes the Fauzi Azar in Nazareth, a historic guesthouse that became known as a meeting point for travelers and locals from different faiths and backgrounds. The Fauzi Azar has been closed over the past two years, but it remains an important part of Abraham’s heritage and values.

Today, Abraham operates hostels, tours, and travel experiences in Israel and the Philippines, including a resort in Bohol and tours across the Philippines. Abraham is an impact-driven company, using travel as a platform work with local communities, encourage dialogue, and create positive social and cultural impact. In Israel, Abraham’s touring activity is led through Abraham Tlalim Tours, following the merger with Tlalim. Together, these tours focus on geography, history, and society, engaging with local communities and presenting complex realities through multiple narratives. Across all destinations, Abraham continues to shape travel as a tool for understanding, connection, and thoughtful encounter.
