About Us
Our Vision
To be an important leading regional tourism group, an efficient and profitable company, whose
actions have an impact and create a positive change on the environment in which we operate, while
promoting values that are important to us.
The Founders of Abraham
Maoz Inon and Gal Mor, both enthusiastic globetrotters and travel entrepreneurs, met through their mutual efforts to promote Israel as a leading destination for independent travelers. Their dream was to create an all-encompassing one-stop hub for backpackers and to revolutionize the world’s view of Israel and the Middle East by revealing the local reality and all that this region has to offer. The idea of Abraham was born.
In order to turn their dream into a reality, the young entrepreneurs asked Nitzan Kimchi and Dror Tishler to join them, initially as investors and later on contributors to their experience, knowledge, and expertise. Finally, Yaron Burgin, who shares an equal love for travel and wish to turn Israel into a desirable backpacker’s destination, joined and complimented the team as the fifth partner of Abraham in 2006.

The Hostel
Abraham Tel Aviv opened its doors in 2016. Located in the heart of the city, the hostel is surrounded by cafés, nightclubs, and cultural attractions, around the corner from the edgy Florentin neighborhood, and just a 20-minute walk from the beach promenade and Jaffa.
The hostel’s multicultural walls host up to 400 independent travelers in well-designed ensuite dorm rooms up to junior suites, as well as a variety of local cultural events. Every week, our guests can enjoy free live concerts of local musicians, join Israeli cooking workshops or dance the night away on one of our pub crawls. On long summer nights, both Tel Avivians and guests come together on the vast rooftop, enjoying music, lights, and drinks with a Mediterranean flair. And when the weather is colder, the fully stocked bar, well-equipped guest kitchen and in-house restaurant easily connect locals and travelers over a variety of international dishes and drinks.
