We’ve come a long way since we first started in 2010 with just one humble hostel in Jerusalem and a few tours. It’s been quite a journey for us, and we’re incredibly grateful for the growth we’ve experienced. Today, we offer a variety of tourism services, including hostels, events, workshops, day tours, and package tours, not only in Israel but also in Egypt’s Sinai, Jordan, and the Philippines. We’re always looking for ways to improve and offer new and exciting experiences to our guests, but we never forget our roots!
We strive to remain grounded and remember where we started, always committed to supporting local businesses and communities and preserving the environment. We wanted our hostels to truly embody hospitality for every traveler who walks through our doors. We knew that as a tourism company, our goal is not only to break barriers and excel but also to make a positive impact on our society and community as much as we can, and to act in a way that benefits our environment. Our hostels in Nazareth, Tel Aviv, and Eilat operate and will continue to operate under the same model. The same applies to our tours in Abraham, which were built with the idea of creating an impact on the community. We chose to offer tours to Hebron, Jordan, and the Palestinian Authority, as well as tours focused on unique cultural communities in Israel. Our tours build bridges and promote dialogue and tolerance in Israeli society through personal encounters and indirect introductions between tourists and Israelis. From this standpoint, we participated in a campaign against the deportation of refugees, disavowed discrimination and the framing of the Nation-State Law, supported the LGBTQ+ community, supported Ethiopian Israelis, and fought for pluralism, acceptance of the other, equality, democracy, hope, and unity.
We see travel as a powerful tool for change. Our dual narrative tours offer a unique perspective, revealing the diverse facets of regions touched by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and beyond. We embed ourselves in the local communities we serve, mindful of our environmental footprint. With a commitment to sustainable travel, we actively work to reduce our carbon emissions, support local businesses, and promote eco-friendly tourism. We celebrate local art and creativity by transforming our hostels into galleries for local artists to showcase their work in our interchanging and permanent exhibitions. Abraham is not just a hostel or a tour provider; we’re a community deeply committed to making a positive impact, promoting unity, and embracing diversity in all its beautiful forms.
